Santorini Ferry Timetables
And Information.

If you plan to arrive by sea,then you will need Santorini ferry timetables.

The timetables list all the crossings, from Pireaus port in Athens, to the Greek Island of Santorini.

If you plan to do a bit of Island hopping en-route to Santorini,the Santorini ferry timetables will give you information on all stopping places.

But first,you need to get to the port of Pireaus from Athens airport to catch your ferry.

By Bus.

There is an express bus service which runs from the airport and connects with Piraeus port. However the journey takes approx ninety minutes.

Buy a ticket for Piraeus port from outside the exit doors of the airport terminal. You will board bus number, X96 for Piraeus Port.

The bus runs every half an hour on the hour. At the time of writing,this information is accurate. however please double check at the information kiosk when you buy your ticket.

Taxi.

If you choose to take a taxi to Pireaus port, the journey will cost around 25 Euros, depending how much luggage you have. More if you have a lot of bags. The journey time will be 30-35 mins.

Tell the taxi driver your final destination and he will drop you at the correct terminal in the port.

Getting to Santorini By Ferry.

There are a number of ferries operating a service into Santorini.you can choose to go by high speed boat journey time approx.4.5 hrs or you can take the slow boat journey time approx. 7 hrs.

Blue Star Ferries to Santorini.

This service is ideal if you are Island hopping, the boat calls at: Paros, Naxos, and finally Santorini. If your destination is Santorini and you want to view Paros and Naxos from the boat, this service is also ideal for you.

Low Season from 1st April until 12th June & 14th Sep until 31st Oct.

The ferry leaves Piraeus port at 07.25 and arrives in Santorini at 15.00 calling at Paros and Naxos en route. Daily.

High season from: 13th June until 13th Sep.

The ferry leaves Piraeus Port at 07.25 and arrives in Santorini at 15.00 calling at Paros and Naxos en route. Daily.

Low season From 1st May until 31st may & 28th Sept until l31st Oct.

The ferry. Departs Piraeus at 17.15 and arrives in Santorini at 01.15 calling at Paros and Naxos En route. Saturdays Only.

Blue Star ferry 2. Timetable

This ferry operates from: 1st May until 31st Oct.

This ferry leaves Piraeus at19.00 and arrives in Santorini 24.00 hrs. Then on to Kos then Rhodes. It operates on Tues, Thurs and Sundays.

On Saturday it departs Piraeus at 09.00 and arrives in Santorini at 14.00 then on to Kos then Rhodes.

High Speed Ferry.

The high speed boats are very fast cutting your journey by many hours.

These boats are small holding around 200 seated passengers rather like being inside an aircraft. They are not ideal for sightseeing as you are not allowed on deck once it sets sail.

The only views you have are through the windows. They are very comfortable however for short periods, with TV’s and refreshment bars.

This service is available every day from 1st June until 6th Sep. Leaving Piraeus at 07.15 arrives in Santorini at 11.45.
