There are a number of Santorini cheap flights, and choices, for you to get to Santorini Island. Direct by plane from your own country. This is by far the cheapest method. Your journey time from UK. Will be approx. 4 hours Fly to Athens and then catch a flying shuttle
Another choice for getting to Santorini Island from Athens is to board a ferry. There is the slow ferry which takes oprox 7 hours or the fast sea jet service which takes around 4 hours.

Santorini Direct Flight. . There are a number of Airlines running Santorini cheap flights onto the Island direct from April to October. From certain airports in the UK Thomas Cook Airlines run a service direct from Manchester, Newcastle and Gatwick every Tuesday from April to November. Easy Jet flies direct on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from Gatwick. The service runs from May to October.
Flight time is approx 4.5 hrs. Greek time is 2 hours ahead of UK time.
Once in Athens you then have two choices of getting to Santorini. By Plane or by Ferry.
Olympic Airways, Aegean Airline and Athens Airways, run regular shuttle flights from Athens airport into Santorini your journey time is approx 40 min. When you book your flight into Athens through your travel agent, it’s a good idea to also book a connecting flight into Santorini. Perhaps you want to visit Athens for a day or two before going to Santorini, no problem, plan your trip and your connecting flight accordingly. The cost of all these flights from all airlines differs depending on when you fly and at what time. The cost is between 90Euros to 140 Euro. The earlier you book the better.
